# Peppol

With onFact, in addition to sending invoices via email, you can also easily send and receive invoices via [PEPPOL](http://peppol.eu/) . PEPPOL is a network for the exchange of [electronic invoices](https://www.onfact.be/blog/de-elektronische-factuur-of-e-factuur) (e-invoicing).

PEPPOL is similar to email: every company has a PEPPOL address to which invoices can be sent, and these invoices arrive in the company’s inbox. Exchanging invoices through this channel has two major advantages for both parties:

* invoices can be processed automatically by software programs;
* there is a definitive confirmation of receipt, eliminating any dispute over whether or not an invoice was delivered.
